Communication and Media offers faculty-led study abroad opportunities for students. Past study abroad has included Cuba and Nicaragua. The purpose of our study abroad opportunities are to understand how broad economic structures influence communities’ organizational and communication strategies and to experience communication practices outside mainstream U.S. culture.
