Beginning in Spring 2007, the Department no longer requires a Senior Paper due to the other changes in the social work degree curriculum that took effect with the 06-07 Bulletin. Students wishing to write an intensive research paper may still request a mentor and take SOWK-495 Honors Paper for elective credit. If you have strong writing skills, wish to improve your writing skills, and/or are considering graduate school at some point, we encourage you to do some type of independent research paper or project. Please see your advisor if you have any questions regarding which requirements apply to you.
