Students in the Social Studies Teaching Program each create a professional portfolio that corresponds to national standards in the preparation of secondary social studies teachers. This page provides a link to students who have started their portfolios in Social Studies 200, Introduction to Social Studies. The links are made to student home pages which in turn have links to their professional portfolios. Each student will complete the portfolio prior to student teaching. The portfolios are assessed by an advisory council for the Program. The Advisory Council consists of practicing secondary social studies teachers.
