The Midwestern Conference on Professional Psychology (MCPP) is an annual conference in Owatonna, Minnesota hosted by the Department of Psychology. The conference has become known over the years as simply “The Owatonna Conference.” You can receive 1-credit for attending the conference by signing up for the conference and Psyc 490/590.

  • The 2020 MCPP will be held on Thursday, March 26 from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., and Friday, March 27 from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Holiday Inn and Suites in Owatonna, MN.
  • For MCPP 2020, the conference theme is Applied Behavior Analysis and will include an undergraduate student research poster session, concurrent graduate student research presentations, and invited speakers discussing their areas of specialty.

Please use the WEBSITE to register for the conference: After your registration and payment is processed, then you will have the option to register for PSYC 490/590, which will count as a 1-credit psychology elective. This is a great way to earn an extra psychology credit in spring semester!
