This is a professional/applied degree intended for those who do not wish to pursue a Ph.D., although earning a M.S./ M.A. degree does not preclude students from entering a Ph.D. program. The program combines coursework with an internship and culminates with a professional portfolio.

This online certificate allows secondary school teachers and community college instructors to enhance their professional development, while offering the credentials for teaching History in “College in the Schools” courses.
