Beth Wielde held a predoctoral fellowship from MSU Mankato. She received her Doctor of Public Administration program from Hamline University, and earned her MA in Urban – Regional Studies from MSU. She did her research on the presentation of public-sector bureaucrats in narrative film. She teaches design and historic preservation.
