Professor Miriam Porter is the Chair/Director of the Urban and Regional Studies Institute. She also serves as the department’s Internship Coordinator and Director of the Graduate Program. She teaches the graduate capstone course, Studio, and other courses in the graduate curriculum including Organizational Environment, Administrative Services and Management Process. She also teaches Intro to the City which is a core course in the undergraduate program as well as a general education elective. She and her colleague, Professor Asomani –Boateng, co-teach the Ghana field studies course bi-annually. This course culminates with a two week, faculty led trip to Ghana.
