The Department of Social Work periodically revises some of the policies that are in the Student Handbook or adds additional policies that affect students and faculty. These policies are available here:
The out-of-region and international credit-earning policy addresses those situations were students want to earn credits for learning experiences outside of the Mankato region.
The Access for Students with Disabilities policy reflects the University and Department commitment to meeting the responsibilities found in the Americans with Disabilities Act.
The Distractions and Technology Use policy identifies the department's concern that limits need to be placed on the misuse of technology in the classroom and that courtesy is an important professional behavior.
The Faculty Policies section identifies some departmental decisions about faculty-related policies not covered by the IFO Contract.
