Additional Policies Supplemental to the Student Handbook
The Department of Social Work periodically revises some of the policies that are in the Student Handbook or adds additional policies that affect students and faculty. These policies are available here:
The Domestic Out-of-Region and International Field Experiences policy (effective January 2016) addresses situations where BSSW students want to complete junior or senior field experiences outside of the Mankato region.
The Access for Students with Disabilities policy reflects the University and Department commitment to meeting the responsibilities found in the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Access for Students with Disabilities
The Distractions and Technology Use policy identifies the department's concern that limits need to be placed on the misuse of technology in the classroom and that courtesy is an important professional behavior.
