Bill Anderson has been on the Minnesota State Mankato faculty since 1977. He is currently chair of the Department of Social Work. He has a Ph.D. and an MSW from Florida State University. He teaches Practice II (interpersonal/family/group helping skills), introductory courses, and advanced research.
Bill was on the Minnesota Board of Social Work from 1987-1999. He served two terms as the chairperson of this social work licensing agency and represented Minnesota on the American Association of State Social Work Boards. He also served on the board of the statewide social work faculty association, Minnesota Conference on Social Work Education (MCSWE), and currently serves on the regional board of the social services association, MSSA.
Bill's research interests include social policy issues, research methods, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder among veterans and other survivors.
