All social studies students complete an "electronic portfolio." You will begin your portfolio in SOST 200 and complete it in SOST 450.
If you do not know how to make and publish web pages you are encouraged to learn prior to enrolling in SOST 200.
For each of the ten knowledge standards you are required to submit at least one "teaching document." Possible entries would be lesson plans, unit plans, graduation standard assessments, evaluations of your clinical performances, reflections on your own teaching.
It is recommended that you submit other entries for each of the knowledge standards. These may be other teaching documents or papers, etc. submitted to your content classes that would address the standard.
For each entry you must identify the performance expectation(s) within the standard that would be addressed. Note that you may identify more than one expectation.
For each of the seven skill categories you should be able to submit an entry that you used in the knowledge categories. Assignments in SOST 200 and 450 should address the seven skill areas.
