Welcome to the Department of Political Science and Law Enforcement at Minnesota State University, Mankato!
As our name indicates, we are a unique and diverse department. Our distinguished faculty specialize in all main fields of political science, and the department is able to offer a correspondingly wide variety of courses. Whether you want to concentrate your studies in American Politics, Comparative Government, Political Theory, or Law Enforcement (just to name a few!), at MSU you will have the opportunity to closely work with some of the Midwest's best scholars.
Study in our department has opened the door to many exciting careers for our alumni. Students in our program have gone on to distinguish themselves in law enforcement, local, state, and federal government, interest groups, and academia, among others.
