On January 17, by the College of Social & Behavioral Science’s Diversity Teaching and Learning Circle, a group that discusses diversity in the curriculum, sponsored a lectureship by Juana Bordas. Her talk focused on eight core leadership principles common to Latino, African-American and American Indian cultures, and how incorporating these principles can create a more effective leadership style.
