Columbia, SC (National Endowment for the Humanities summer seminar, "Faulkner and Southern History," for college and university teachers, at the University of South Carolina, Columbia, SC, sponsored by USC's Institute for Southern Studies)

From October 19-22, 2006, five MSU students in Pi Sigma Alpha and I traveled to Washington D.C. for three days of touring. 

With several students in Pi Sigma Alpha, I attended the Minnesota Political Science Association conference at Metropolitan State University, November 11, 2006.

During my spring 2007 sabbatical, I spent significant time in Iowa City, IA for research.  In addition, I completed the Oxford Round Table, an interactive workshop on "Diversity in Society" held at Oxford University, UK, March 25-30, 2007.

I attended the International Society of Political Psychology conference in Portland, OR, July 4-7, 2007.
