2003 Kessel Lecture

On October 7, 2003, MSU was honored greatly to host Dr. Jack Levin, a sociologist, criminologist and internationally recognized authority on violence and hate crimes, for the 2003 Kessel Lecture.  Dr. Levin is Professor of Sociology and Criminology, and Director of the Brudnick Center on Violence and Conflict, at Northeastern University in Boston.  He has authored or co-authored 24 books, and has appeared on national network news and numerous talk shows, including Oprah.  The lecture, delivered to an audience that filled MSU's Ostrander Auditorium, was titled "Hate and Violence After 9/11."
