Charge
The CSBS Technology and Equipment Committee is charged with helping the college to define the roles of new technologies in relation to our teaching/advising, research/scholarship, and service missions.
The TEC will:
- develop a plan in support of the college mission and goals that will guide the acquisition, replacement, and maintenance of technology and equipment in the college;
- develop priorities for the allocation of equipment moneys coming into the college;
- organize and encourage faculty enrichment related to using new technologies;
- advise the college on other issues related to technology and equipment;
- help coordinate college efforts with campus-wide activities and programs.
The TEC will be composed of representatives from departments in the college and will meet regularly to conduct its business.
