Charge
The Social and Behavioral Sciences Teaching and Learning Committee will work to enhance efforts in the college that will strengthen student learning.
The T&L Committee will:
- help organize college-wide professional development activities to promote excellent teaching;
- recognize outstanding teaching in the college;
- cooperate with the TEC committee on projects related to the use of information technologies in the classroom;
- promote assessment activities in the college in coordination with the university assessment committee;
- report regularly on activities to the dean and college.
The T&L committee will be composed of faculty chosen by their departments as representatives of excellence in teaching.
