Charge

The Social and Behavioral Sciences Teaching and Learning Committee will work to enhance efforts in the college that will strengthen student learning.

The T&L Committee will:

  1. help organize college-wide professional development activities to promote excellent teaching;
  2. recognize outstanding teaching in the college;
  3. cooperate with the TEC committee on projects related to the use of information technologies in the classroom;
  4. promote assessment activities in the college in coordination with the university assessment committee;
  5. report regularly on activities to the dean and college.

The T&L committee will be composed of faculty chosen by their departments as representatives of excellence in teaching.
