Charge
The CSBS Research Committee is charged with promoting scholarly and creative work in the college.
The Research Committee will:
- review and make recommendations to the dean about college research grants;
- organize college-wide activities, including the Frontier Forum, to promote scholarly and creative work;
- review and make recommendations to the dean about awards and honors for scholarly and creative activity in the college;
- make recommendations to the dean regarding ways to support and increase scholarly and creative activity in the college;
- coordinate college efforts with campus-wide activities and programs.
Members will include a representative from each department. Members will be appointed by the faculty Association upon recommendation of the department.
