As a first-generation college graduate, David Andreas completed his master's degree in Sociology: Anthropology at Mankato State University in 1976. David retired as President of National City Bancorporation in 2002, but has always been an Anthropologist at heart.
David has had longtime contact with MSU and stays connected through involvement in special activities and events. He is a former MSU foundation board member and currently serves on two MSU college advisory boards. He has purchased a brick in the alumni plaza, supports theatre and several other campus initiatives. David is a strong supporter of the EMuseum, a virtual Museum on the Internet, created by the Anthropology Department. Both the EMuseum and the Andreas Endowment have had a significant impact on the success of the Anthropology Department.
Mr. Andreas feels that his education here has given him a greater sense of possibilities. He believes strongly in the value of education at MSU, and that our campus offers the best return on your tuition dollar.
