Connexus Energy is Minnesota's largest electric cooperative, providing electricity and related products and services to homes and businesses in portions of Anoka, Chisago, Hennepin, Isanti, Ramsey, Sherburne and Washington counties. The cooperative is owned by its members, and supports several community initiatives, including scholarships for high school seniors in their service areas.
Connexus Energy is actively involved in many programs and projects that improve the quality of life for the customers, children, employees, and neighbors in the communities they serve. They enthusiastically support youth, education, sports, the environment and a variety of social and safety programs aimed at improving the health and welfare of the communities they serve.
Duane Arens is the Economic and Community Development Coordinator for Connexus, and is an MSU graduate. He is on the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences Advisory Board, and has facilitated a Connexus Energy scholarship for MSU students from their service areas.
