Sara Leigh, Student Relations Coordinator

Sara Leigh is the Student Relations Coordinator (SRC) for University Extended Campus. As the SRC for University Extended Campus Sara serves as a campus resource liaison for the students in Communication Studies, Twin Cities Engineering, and Elementary Education offered on the Normandale Community College campus. She also serves as an advisor and resource for the online students in the Applied Leadership program.

Sara started as an SRC in February of 2017, but she has been part of the Minnesota State system for close to 15 years and has been in higher education almost 25 years. Her experience spans admissions and recruiting, advising, records and teaching.

Sara graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead back when it was still called Moorhead State University, and she earned her master’s degree at the University of Denver.
